Thai Emerald finally opened in Gulshan and I decided to pay a visit. For those who are unfamiliar with it, it's arguably Dhaka's best Thai restaurant. Moving on, I found out that they are currently in their "Soft Launch" period with a limited menu, but with all the fan favorites. The taste of the dishes were exactly the same as the ones served at the Uttara branch, which is a highly impressive feat. Decor was as usual pretty chic. Service was good aside from a slight hiccup when they took our order.
For those wondering about the location, it's located in Gulshan 1, on the road behind the Banglalink headquarters and on the same road as Angaar. For more landmarks, it is on located on the property where the "The 8" fusion restaurant used to be. Price and review pf each item I ordered is listed in each individual pic and also pictures of the soft launch menu with price of all items. Prices are exclusive of 15% VAT and 10% Service Charge.
